Girls Grow Hockey Program

NCMYH STING is excited to introduce our new Girls Grow Hockey (GGH)Program.   Funded by a Cheevers Grow Hockey grant, Girls Grow Hockey is all about creating local opportunities for girls to enjoy and excel in ice Hockey.  Our hope is to have as many local girls playing ice hockey as boys.

This year we are starting off with a series of Free Girls Only skills clinics and scrimmages.  Coaches and players from the Winchendon School Girls ice hockey team will host and lead these sessions on selected Sunday evenings at the Winchendon Schools Jason Ritchie ice Rink in Winchendon Ma.

As the Girls Grow Hockey evolves we will introduce participants to more players and coaches from local Girls ice hockey teams as well as players and coaches from local Women's college teams and other girls and women participating in ice hockey at all levels.  As with all of our programs Girls Grow Hockey will focus on Fun, skills development and making new connections.
